After seeing the glowing recommendations Amrita had for teaching young people, I was worried about how this would translate to teaching me (a young adult). Even as soon as the first lesson, my fears were put aside because Amrita was a brilliant, warm and dedicated teacher. I had tried to learn C++ from a textbook and struggled but she was incredibly capable at explaining the language and did it in a very memorable way. Alongside this, she has taught me valuable lessons about sensible and clean code that have made my life so much easier. As a student, I was initially unsure whether I would be able to keep up, but those worries quickly disappeared after my first lesson with Amrita. She is patient, approachable, and explains concepts in a way that makes even difficult topics feel manageable. We have been with Amrita for over two years. She teaches both daughters, one who is about to start her GCSEs and another who has just finished Year 6.
