I am a medical student at Kent and Medway Medical School, teaching the subjects I sat and loved at A-level. I took Biology, Chemistry and Maths and finished with AAB, and I went through the whole medical application process recently enough to still remember how it felt. That is what a student gets from me. The specification is fresh, the exam technique is fresh, and I know which parts of it earn marks and which parts people lose months to.
My first job with any student is confidence. Someone who believes a subject is learnable revises differently from someone who has decided they are bad at it, and the grades follow the change in belief. The second job is curiosity, because a student who finds the material interesting stops revising out of fear and starts remembering it properly.
What I teach
• GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry
• A-level Biology and Maths
• Medical and dental applications for Year 13, covering personal statement, interview practice including MMI-style stations, course and university choice, and how to talk about work experience so it counts
What parents get
• A short note after each session saying what we covered, what was set, and what I want to see before the next one
• An honest view of where the student actually is against their target grade, and what it will take to close the gap
| Level | Subject | Rate |
